This word search app is highly flexible and offers a multitude of configuration options to create a personalized gaming experience. Whether you're using a small mobile phone or a large tablet, this app is designed to provide hours of fun.

Tired of repetitive words? Frustrated with non-English terms? Struggling with difficult-to-read grids? Look no further - Word Search Ultimate solves all these problems and more.

With this app, you have the power to configure:

<ol>
<li>Grid size: Specify the number of columns and rows (ranging from 3 to 20), allowing for non-square grids if desired.</li>
<li>Game difficulty: Choose the proportion of words written diagonally, backwards, or vertically to match your preferred challenge level. Perfect for introducing children to word search!</li>
<li>Word difficulty: Select the size of the dictionary used, ranging from the 500 most common words (ideal for kids and language students) to a comprehensive list of 80,000 words.</li>
<li>Maximum number of words: Decide how many words you want to find in each game, from 1 to 150. This ensures enough words to fill even a 20x20 grid.</li>
<li>Minimum and maximum word length: Avoid an abundance of small words by setting specific word length parameters. Alternatively, challenge yourself with truly difficult games by setting both minimum and maximum word length to three.</li>
<li>Highlighting: Choose whether to mark already found words or keep the grid unmarked for easy readability.</li>
<li>Word list layout: Customize the arrangement of the word list by selecting between columns or an even spread across the screen.</li>
<li>Language: Explore the downloadable dictionaries available in various languages. Currently, there are 36 languages to choose from.</li>
<li>Orientation: Play in portrait or landscape mode - the display will automatically adjust to your device's rotation.</li>
<li>Word category: Select words from specific categories, such as animals or food, to add an extra element of interest to your game.</li>
</ol>

Each game is assigned a difficulty level ranging from 0 (easy) to 9 (very hard), which is determined by your chosen settings or the difficulty selector. The app keeps track of high scores for each difficulty level based on the fastest completion time. The top 20 scores are displayed for each difficulty level.

In addition to these features, this app offers several unique functionalities:

<li>Two methods of selecting words: Use the classic swipe gesture or touch the first and last letter of the word directly on the grid.</li>
<li>Game aid: If you're having trouble finding a word, you can choose to reveal it.</li>
<li>Word definition lookup: Connect to the internet and view the definitions of words from an online dictionary.</li>
<li>Language learning support: When playing with word lists in foreign languages, word definitions will be provided in your own language whenever possible.</li>
</ol>
